I.
A) List the five goals from your formal proposal.
Goals:
· Help people understand the addiction
· Help people with ways to treat the addiction
· I want to reach out to those with alcoholic friends/family members and let them know they’re not alone and there is a way to help
· Help determine the most efficient ways to overcome

B) Prove that you met each of these goals or thoroughly explain why you did not.
· I believe that I helped people understand the addiction and gave them ideas of the best ways to help treat people.

What did you seek for advice on this project? Did you improve at asking for feedback?
· I really did not ask people’s advice on my topic.

Describe any risks you took in order to complete this project. Be sure to consider emotional, intellectual or physical challenges.
· The major risk I took was definitely doing my project in general, and attending an Alateen meeting and sharing with people about my experience with alcoholism with my mother.

List and describe three personal satisfactions you have gained from doing this project.
· Alcoholism is a disease
· Alcoholism can be prevented
· I hate my mom

Explain two problems you encountered and how you solved them.
  • The first problem I encountered was that my project fell through. So I did an even better project that not only related to my topic but helped me grow as a person.
  • The second problem I encountered was that my paper disappeared into cyber space. I had to redo the whole 2 and ½ pages I wrote. But I sucked it up and did it like a champ.

What did you learn about managing your time?
  • DO NOT PROCRASTINTE. It will come back to bit you.

What did you learn about managing your level of stress?
  • I learned to take big deep breathes and calm down, because every senior that graduates has done this well, and I told myself I can too.

If you could do the same project over again, what would you do differently?
  • I would definitely manage my time much better!

Grade yourself based on the stated goals of the course - to encourage higher order thinking skills such as application of knowledge, analysis of information, creativity and the ability to make strong evaluative judgments. What grade do you deserve and why?
  • I believe I deserve at least I B+. I know my video would not load but I feel I did a good job with my senior sem, and kept everything in my control even when it was not. My topic was very personal for me and I believe that I have grown as a person and came to an understanding.
